    The level 2 Quality Control Technician would be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of product quality and compliance with ISO 9001 regulations.

    Qualified candidates should have hands-on experience in Quality Control or Quality Inspection within a manufacturing environment, along with a strong understanding of ISO 9001:2015 standards. Proficiency with quality measurement tools and the ability to accurately evaluate products against established specifications are essential. Candidates should also possess a solid manufacturing background, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.



    Job Responsibilities:

    - Perform visual inspections and dimensional measurements utilizing approved measuring equipment of components to ensure compliance with quality specifications and standards, identifying any deviations or non-conformities and documenting them accurately.
    - Conduct specialized inspections on incoming customer or supplier parts in accordance with quality procedures.
    - Conduct inspections and requirements per engineering requests.
    - Verify product compliance to drawings, specifications, work instructions, procedures, and customer requirements.
    - Review required detailed inspection documentation and records, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
    - Operate FARO or other CMM measurement equipment.
    - Support CMM measurement activities and validation.
    - Coordinate outside calibrations with qualified suppliers.
    - Perform calibration activities ensuring inspection and testing equipment is properly calibrated and maintained according to established procedures and schedules and perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting and repair as needed.
    - Support gage repeatability and reproducibility studies.
    - Assist with measurement system analysis activities.
    - Mentor and train Quality Control Technician I personnel.
    - Provide guidance on blueprint interpretation and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
    - Support operator training related to inspection and measurement techniques.
    - Assist production personnel with quality-related technical issues.
    - Assist with root cause investigations.
    - Support corrective and preventive action implementation.
    - Participate in scrap reduction initiatives.
    - Support internal and external audits and quality system improvements.
    - Follow all safety policies and procedures.
    - Support ISO 9001 compliance and company quality objectives.

    Job Requirements:

    - High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional technical education or certification in quality assurance or a related field preferred.
    - A minimum of 3-5 years previous experience in a quality control or quality inspection role within a manufacturing environment preferred.
    - Experience with Quality Management Systems and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
    - Experience using calipers, micrometers, tape measures & other measurement equipment as required; mechanical or digital
    - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing inspections, tests, measurements, and documentation.
    - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to colleagues and stakeholders.
    - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team, collaborating effectively with peers and supervisors to achieve common goals.
    - Computer usage proficiency utilizing software applications, TEAMS, MS Word, and MS Excel
