    Quality Control Technician

    Setting/Hours: 100% In-Office | Tuesday - Friday 6a-6p

    Join trak group in partnering with a growing client in Erlanger, Kentucky that’s expanding its Manufacturing team. 

    REQUIREMENTS:


    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a laboratory quality assurance environment within the food, flavor, or chemical industries.

    • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality control standards.

    • Adaptable and flexible mindset with the ability to thrive in a changing, fast-paced environment.

    • Support product testing and auditing processes to ensure products meet company quality and compliance specifications.

    • Assist with troubleshooting product quality concerns, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting corrective action initiatives.

    • Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

    • Ensure compliance with Food Safety, Quality, and GMP standards while supporting daily laboratory and production operations.

    • Monitor and collect qualitative and quantitative product data to verify adherence to company specifications and quality requirements.

    • Accurately input analytical and testing data into computerized laboratory management systems.

    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment while ensuring testing equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.

    • Follow established laboratory procedures, testing methods, and standard operating protocols.

    • Assist in troubleshooting manufacturing and quality issues, including risk assessments, deviations, retesting, and material or product rejections.

    • Monitor and approve production equipment sanitation, startup procedures, and operational performance to support product quality and compliance.

    • Monitor the plant environment using testing equipment and established quality procedures to support food safety and compliance standards.

    • Conduct routine production line audits and verify operator quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.

    • Support GMP, food safety, and quality programs by completing assigned audits and assisting with corrective action initiatives.

    • Communicate technical, quality, and production-related information effectively during shift meetings and cross-functional team discussions.

    • Investigate processes, perform testing, and collect data to support process improvements and product or packaging enhancements.

    • Contribute to continuous improvement, quality assurance, food safety, cost reduction, and research and development initiatives as assigned.
