Construction Quality Control Supervisor

Phoenix, AZ | Direct Hire | $84,000–$90,000/year

Konik is partnering with a global industrial organization seeking a Construction Quality Control Supervisor to support an active project in the Phoenix area. This hands-on, site-based role will oversee construction quality, coordinate inspections, and ensure piping, equipment, and mechanical installations meet project specifications and quality standards.

This is a strong opportunity for someone with experience in industrial construction, process piping, water/wastewater, or mechanical systems who enjoys being in the field and working closely with contractors and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site quality control activities and inspect construction, piping, equipment, and mechanical installations.

• Review P&IDs, piping drawings, and project specifications to verify field installations and identify discrepancies.

• Coordinate subcontractor, third-party, client, and regulatory inspections to ensure work is inspection-ready.

• Document non-conforming work and partner with contractors and project teams to resolve quality issues and corrective actions.

• Maintain inspection records and provide regular updates on construction progress, quality concerns, and project risks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction quality control, inspection, or field quality experience.

• Background in industrial construction, process piping, water/wastewater, mechanical construction, or equipment installation preferred.

• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, piping drawings, engineering drawings, and construction specifications.

• Experience with field inspections, quality documentation, and non-conformance/corrective action processes.

• OSHA 30 and OSHA 510 required or ability to obtain; engineering or construction-related degree and additional quality/safety certifications are a plus.
