Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday (12-hour day shifts); start times vary at 4:30 AM, 5:30 AM, and 6:30 AM

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to monitor and validate operational processes in a high-volume sort center. This part-time role involves working on the warehouse floor alongside logistics teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor operational processes to ensure compliance with quality standards in a high-volume sort environment
• Audit activities such as scan accuracy, sort accuracy, and overall process adherence
• Validate that operational outputs meet customer and company quality requirements
• Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to identify potential quality risks, including mis-sorts and process deviations
• Document findings accurately and communicate issues clearly to relevant teams
• Assist in maintaining process integrity through real-time observation and feedback
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing quality data and observations
• Participate in quality audits and reviews as directed
• Ensure safety protocols and operational procedures are followed during quality monitoring

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or quality-related roles
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic understanding of warehouse or sortation processes
• Ability to observe, document, and communicate findings clearly

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in high-volume sort centers or logistics environments
• Knowledge of quality auditing or control methods
• Basic understanding of sortation and warehouse systems
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
