Description

Empire Workforce Solutions is hiring a QC Sample Coordinator for a manufacturing company in Henderson, NV. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a pay increase upon permanent hire.

Pay: $20–$22/hour, depending on experience

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

Interview Process: Second interviews will be conducted with the management team, who will make the final hiring decision.

Job Summary

The QC Sample Coordinator supports Sales and Quality Control by coordinating customer sample requests, inspections, inventory, documentation, and shipments. This role works closely with Sales, Planning, Production, Purchasing, and Quality to ensure samples are accurate, completed on time, and properly tracked.

Key Responsibilities

Train and provide daily direction to QC team members and temporary employees.

Coordinate QC workflow and ensure inspections are completed accurately and on time.

Inspect incoming materials, in-process production, finished goods, and samples for defects and specification compliance.

Document inspection results, defects, rework, and product dispositions using WMS, Excel, and other systems.

Assist with identifying causes of defects and quality issues.

Review customer and sales sample requests and ensure requirements are accurate.

Complete quality reports, logs, daily recaps, and inventory audits.

Coordinate rework and verify final quality checks.

Maintain compliance with customer requirements, company procedures, and safety standards.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

2–3 years of manufacturing, production, or quality control experience preferred.

Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects and inconsistencies.

Knowledge of quality inspection methods and manufacturing processes.

Basic computer skills; Excel experience preferred.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and manage multiple priorities.

AQL knowledge and bilingual skills are a plus.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and move throughout the production area.

Ability to handle and visually inspect materials and finished
