Shift: 1st Shift | Monday Thursday | 6:45 AM 5:15 PM
Pay: $18.00 per Hour

Our client is seeking a dependable Quality Inspector / Material Sorter to join their growing team in Lexington, NC. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in ensuring product quality and maintaining high manufacturing standards.
As a Quality Inspector / Material Sorter, you will work throughout the facility inspecting wood cabinet components, identifying defects, sorting materials, and helping ensure only quality products move through the production process. This position reports directly to the General Manager and offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with long-term potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect wood cabinet parts and components for quality, defects, and damage.
- Sort materials according to established quality standards.
- Remove defective, damaged, or non-conforming materials from production.
- Return acceptable products and materials back into the production process.
- Work in multiple departments throughout the manufacturing facility as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and quality procedures.
- Assist with additional duties and special projects as assigned by the General Manager.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to identify defects and make sound decisions regarding product quality.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, production, or quality inspection experience is preferred but not required.
- Willingness to learn and work in various areas of the facility.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift.
- Frequently lift, carry, and move materials throughout the workday.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and twist as needed.
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment.
- Starting Pay: $18.00 per Hour
- 1st Shift Schedule
- Four-Day Work Week (Monday Thursday)
