We are looking for a Quality Control Manager (QCM) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in federal/government. The QCM will be responsible for overseeing the quality of construction projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the project quality control plan.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure all construction activities meet quality standards.
• Work closely with the project team to identify potential quality issues and develop solutions.
• Coordinate and conduct pre-construction, pre-installation and final inspections.
• Prepare and maintain all necessary quality control documentation and reports.
• Train and supervise project staff on quality control procedures and standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure quality standards are met.
• Address and resolve any issues or problems related to the quality of work.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with OSHA 30 standards and other safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control management in the construction industry, specifically in the federal/government sector.
• OSHA 30 certification is a must. SSHO is a plus!
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality standards.
• Proficient in using quality control software and tools.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with federal, state, and local construction regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contracts.
• Must be able to work in a team environment and lead a team to achieve quality objectives.
