Quality Control Manager | Bridge Steel Shop (Relocation to Columbia, MO)

Relocation required: this role is on-site in Columbia, Missouri. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

Ready to trade Dallas for mid-Missouri? A bridge steel fabricator in Columbia, MO is looking for a Quality Control Manager to run quality from inspection planning through final release under AWS D1.5.

Responsibilities:

• Direct the shop's weld inspection and NDT program from fit-up through final release of bridge members
• Act as the primary quality liaison for production leads, project managers, and third-party inspectors
• Develop and maintain inspection and test plans, quality documentation, and the NCR and corrective action process
• Hold all bridge steel work to AWS D1.5, AISC certification requirements, and owner specifications

Requirements:

• Must be willing to relocate to Columbia, MO
• Active CWI certification
• Hands-on quality background in AWS D1.5 bridge steel fabrication
• UT Level II certification
• At least 8 years of quality control experience in a steel fabrication environment
