This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, applicable codes, and quality management standards throughout all phases of construction.The selected candidate will coordinate inspections, monitor workmanship, review project documentation, and work closely with project management, subcontractors, and field personnel to maintain quality standards across multiple construction trades. The QCM will play a key role in identifying deficiencies, implementing corrective actions, and supporting successful project delivery while maintaining compliance with federal construction quality requirements.Qualifications Current CQCM Certification 10 years of demonstrable Quality Control Management experience on similar construction projects; or Graduate Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of construction experience Graduate Architect with a minimum of 5 years of construction experience Graduate of Construction Management with a minimum of 5 years of construction experience Experience overseeing quality control across multiple construction disciplines and tradesAdditional Requirements Ability to review and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contract documents Strong documentation, inspection, and reporting skills Experience coordinating with project teams, subcontractors, and government representatives Ability to identify quality issues and implement corrective actions Ability to work full project schedule of 40-50 hours per weekKey Responsibilities• Manage and administer the project's quality control program• Conduct and coordinate preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections• Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and contract requirements• Maintain quality control documentation, reports, and inspection records• Coordinate with project management and subcontractors to resolve deficiencies• Monitor workmanship and construction activities across multiple trades• Track corrective actions through completion and verification• Participate in project meetings and quality-related discussions• Support successful project turnover and closeout activitiesSkillsQuality Control Management, Construction Quality Assurance, CQCM Compliance, Inspection Management, Documentation Control, Construction Administration, Federal Construction Projects, Problem Solving, Communication, Multi-Trade CoordinationKnowledge BaseStrong understanding of construction quality management systems, federal construction requirements, inspection procedures, documentation controls, and multi-discipline construction activities.
