Job Title: Quality Control Laboratory Technician – Weekend Shift

This role supports a high-performance manufacturing facility by performing quality control testing on raw materials, bulk batches, and finished products. The Quality Control Laboratory Technician ensures products meet strict specifications, communicates results clearly to production teams, and initiates investigations into non-conforming materials. Work Environment
The position is based in a laboratory within a manufacturing facility that produces adhesive and related products. The lab and plant environment involves working around chemicals and strong odors, particularly from adhesives, and candidates should be comfortable working in an area with a noticeable and persistent smell. The role requires consistent use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and strict adherence to Environmental, Health, and Safety procedures. You will work closely with production operators, technical staff, and quality personnel, acting as a key gatekeeper for product quality. The facility operates multiple shifts. Initial training will take place on second shift (approximately 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.), with flexibility to support first shift (approximately 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) if needed. The role will eventually transition to a third-shift schedule (approximately 10:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m., Monday through Friday) as the facility operates across all three shifts. The environment emphasizes teamwork, cross-communication, and continuous improvement, with regular meetings focused on quality, safety, housekeeping, and waste minimization. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
