Job Title: Quality Control Laboratory TechnicianJob Description
The Quality Control Laboratory Technician plays a key role in supporting laboratory testing activities within a donor processing and manufacturing facility. This position assists certified laboratory professionals by preparing materials and samples for testing, operating and maintaining laboratory instrumentation, and ensuring accurate tracking and disposal of specimens. It is an excellent entry-level opportunity for candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent to gain hands-on experience in the medical field and contribute to a highly regulated quality control environment.

Work Environment
This role is based in a donor processing and manufacturing facility focused on quality control testing. The position follows a third-shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with a set shift and no on-call or STAT lab requirements. The work environment is structured and process-driven, with a standard daily operating rhythm that supports consistent, reliable testing. You will work with laboratory instrumentation, front-end automation systems, refrigerated and frozen storage units, and computerized inventory and reporting systems. The facility emphasizes safety, proper biohazard handling, and compliance with quality standards. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.80 - $18.80/hr.
