The Position is responsible for specimen processing, test performance, and for reporting test results. Qualifications:Associates Degree in Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science from an accredited institutionWritten and verbal communication skills are requiredMinimum of six months of experience in QC laboratoryPrimary Responsibilities:Able to perform all primary and secondary responsibilities of QC laboratory Technician I.Ensures device Investigation Forms are complete in a timely mannerHelp maintain Critical Equipment master listMonitor and ensure equipment QC and maintenance is performedAssist with any projects and notify Lead Technician/Quality Control Testing Lab Supervisor of any issues in the Quality Control LabMaintain testing and records have up-to-date information for QC reportingEnsure all supplies are ordered as neededTakes direction from the leads/supervisor of the laboratory without conflictAble to work with techs in other departments without conflictAble to work in timely manner according to the standards of the position being trainedPerform task according to SOP standards for that task
