    Summary:  The Quality Assurance Lab Technician I provide assistance for the Quality Assurance laboratory with various Quality initiatives
     
    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job.  Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below.  Specific activities may change from time to time.
    • Assists in obtaining supplies and calibrating equipment;
    • Analyzing production samples and raw material samples for physical and chemical characteristics;
    • Investigates quality and production issues including customer complaints per supervisor requests;
    • Prepare samples for internal and external customers as requested;
    • Maintains quality production records in a timely manner; 
     
     
    Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
    • High School or GED desired;
    • Two (2) years’ Manufacturing or Lab experience, a plus;
    • Bilingual (Required)
    • Demonstrated high level of computer experience;
    • Demonstrated good communication skills;
