Description
HARVARD RESOURCE SOLUTIONS is hiring 3 QUALITY INSPECTORS for a short-term project in St. Clair, MI.
You will provide support for a large automotive supplier by performing simple inspections of manufactured parts.
POSITION TYPE: Full Time. Contract position that is expected to last a minimum of 8 weeks. Shift begins at 7:00 AM sharp. Steel toed shoes or boots required for entry to the plant.
PAY $19.00 - $21.00 per hour based on years of relevant work experience.
Position Summary
The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing quality checks and inspections on manufactured parts to ensure they meet established quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform a quality check on finished products.
Inspect parts for defects, by performing simple stab checks to verify there are no obstructions.
Identify and segregate nonconforming or defective materials and products.
Communicate quality concerns to production supervisor.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe inspection/work area.
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Any shop floor experience will work
Previous Quality Inspection experience is nice to have.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects.
Basic math and computer skills.
Ability to start quickly
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods during the workday.
Ability to frequently handle and inspect manufactured parts and components.
Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive inspection activities.
