Quality Control Inspector
A sheet metal manufacturing company is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to help ensure products meet required specifications and quality standards. This role involves inspecting materials and finished products, documenting results, and working with the quality team to address defects and support continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
-Inspect raw materials, work-in-progress components, and finished products to verify they meet specifications.
-Read and interpret blueprints and use precision measurement tools to check dimensions and identify defects or deviations.
-Record inspection results, analyze findings, and prepare clear quality documentation and reports.
-Work with the QA/QC team to investigate quality issues, support corrective actions, and maintain inspection records.
Required Qualifications
-Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints.
-Hands-on experience using precision inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
-Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately identify and document quality issues.
-Analytical skills and the ability to evaluate inspection results against product specifications.
Preferred Qualifications
-Experience using an optical comparator.
-Knowledge of quality assurance/quality control practices and ISO 9001 standards.
Compensation: $20-$26
