Quality Control Inspector 

Pay: $20.00–$25.00/hr. (DOE)
Shift: AM Shift
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM (OT may be required)

Location: Hayward, CA  Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Incoming Quality Control Inspector to support a precision manufacturing environment. This role inspects incoming customer material to ensure it meets quality standards, engineering specifications, customer requirements, and internal acceptance criteria before entering production.
Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming material (quantity, cosmetic condition, workmanship, accuracy)
• Verify material against drawings, specs, POs, travelers, and internal quality requirements
• Use basic inspection equipment to confirm compliance
• Document inspection results in electronic quality records and maintain organized files for traceability
• Identify, tag, segregate, and document nonconforming material per quality procedures; assist with disposition
• Stage, label, and release accepted material to production while preventing contamination/damage
• Follow QMS procedures, safety/PPE requirements, and support continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred or 3+ years in QC/Incoming Inspection/QA in manufacturing
• Precision manufacturing experience preferred (semiconductor, aerospace, medical device, automotive, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Comfortable with MS Office and electronic quality records/data entry
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
