Job Store Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Quality Control Inspector I to support a fast-paced manufacturing operation. This position is responsible for inspecting materials and finished products, verifying specifications, documenting inspection results, and helping ensure products meet established quality standards.
Pay/Hours
- 3rd shift Monday – Friday 11pm – 730am
- $20 – 23/hour depending on shift
What You'll Do as a Quality Control Inspector I
- Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and specifications to understand quality requirements.
- Inspect in-process production to verify products meet established specifications.
- Perform visual inspections and measurement tests using appropriate inspection tools and equipment.
- Communicate quality concerns and required adjustments to the appropriate production supervisor.
- Inspect finished products and approve or reject products based on established quality standards.
- Identify products requiring rework and verify that corrections have been completed properly.
- Approve or reject raw materials based on quality requirements and document supplier performance.
- Complete inspection reports, logs, and other required quality documentation accurately.
- Enter inspection data into quality databases and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare and submit quality reports to the Quality Manager.
- Assist with root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions related to process, product, and customer concerns.
- Track and summarize rework and waste as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous quality control, inspection, manufacturing, or production experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet production and quality deadlines.
