    Description

    POSITION DESCRIPTION:
    Conducts various quality control functions to include inspections, testing and monitoring of processes to ensure the
    highest level of quality of all products. Compiles reports regarding deviations from prescribed quality standards.
    Conduct inspections, verify purchased equipment, conduct tests and evaluate final products. Responsible for
    rejecting and identifying items that do not meet engineering specifications or established quality standards. Use
    various types of precision tools and equipment.


    Job responsibilities:
    Verify unit or product is manufactured per EAS standards and project specifications
    Performs equipment verification per approved submittal
    Verify all product tests have been properly executed
    Verify test reports have been properly and accurately completed
    Audit units and ensure quality checks, records and travelers are completed
    Performs inspections of all units / assemblies
    Coordinate with project manager concerning format, documentation before factory customer visit
    Creates videos of non-witnessed testing and maintenance protocol if necessary
    Perform or assist with vibration analysis and dynamic trim balancing on fans
    Performs welding inspections throughout production
    Verify construction against fabrication drawings
    Review pipe installation per P&ID
    Coordinates with Production Design S.P.O.C. any identified issues from production supervisors and required
    redlines
    Performs other Manager identified activities

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
    This position requires a minimum of a high school diploma. Associate degree in a quality- or manufacturing-
    related field is a plus
    This position requires a minimum of 3 years experience in this industry or related industry
    Experience with quality assurance / quality control is desirable
    This position will be supported by on-the-job training and continued education training

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/SPECIAL SKILLS:
    Good documentation and communication (written and oral) skills
    Personal computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, BlueBeam Revu, Gmail, Cloud-based server use)
    An advanced understanding of product design and operation
    Good understanding of manufacturing processes
    Ability to demonstrate leadership skills, coaching, and problem solving
    Willingness to accept every challenge to meet product specifications and client requirements
    Ability to coordinate multiple projects, people and functions
    Skilled in plant safety and construction requirements
