As a Quality Control Inspector, you'll be the guardian of product excellence, working closely with the quality team to verify that each component and completed assembly meets strict engineering, performance, and visual standards. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to quality will directly impact our customer satisfaction and product reliability.

What You'll Do

As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for:

• Performing thorough Receiving, In-Process, First Article, and Final Inspections on parts and assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and purchase specifications.
• Interpreting blueprints and applying GD&T principles to verify tolerances with precision measuring tools.
• Setting up, calibrating, and utilizing various mechanical and electronic measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and height gages.
• Conducting final quality checks, validation tests, and functional testing before shipment to guarantee defect-free products.
• Leading or supporting internal process audits to identify areas for continuous improvement.
• Documenting inspection results, non-conformance reports, and certification data accurately and in compliance with company procedures.
• Collaborating with cross-department teams including engineering, manufacturing, and quality to swiftly resolve issues and improve processes.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment by applying 5S methodologies.

What You'll Bring

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Sharp visual acuity, good spatial reasoning, and an analytical mindset for troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators.
• Knowledge of ISO quality standards and ANSI-Y-14.5 GD&T principles—advanced mastery is expected for higher-tier roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative approach and professional integrity.
• A high school diploma, GED, or technical certification.

Level-specific experience:

• Level I: 0-2 years of manufacturing or assembly experience (training available).
• Level II: 2-5 years in quality inspection with blueprint reading skills.
• Level III: 5+ years of high-precision QA/QC experience, especially in aerospace, defense, medical devices, or advanced electronics; ASQ CQI certification a plus.
