Requirements:

• High school diploma or technical degree in electrical technology
• Experience inspecting industrial control panels or switchgear
• Ability to read schematics, one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts
• Familiarity with multimeters, megohmmeters, and continuity testers
• Knowledge of UL 508A, NEC, and industrial electrical safety preferred
• Experience with PLC panels, MCCs, or E-Houses is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
• Ability to communicate quality concerns across technical teams

Job Duties:

• Inspect electrical control panels during and after assembly
• Verify wiring against schematics and panel layouts
• Check breakers, relays, PLCs, terminal blocks, and power supplies
• Perform continuity, insulation-resistance, and point-to-point wiring tests
• Verify wire, terminal, and equipment labels
• Ensure compliance with UL 508A, NEC, customer specifications, and quality standards
• Document inspection results and nonconforming work
• Support Factory Acceptance Testing
• Resolve deficiencies before equipment ships
• Coordinate corrections with assemblers, electricians, engineers, and project managers

What You Will Do

As a Quality Control you will inspect incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards and engineering specifications. You will use precision measuring equipment, document inspection results, identify nonconforming materials, support corrective actions, and help maintain quality records while promoting safe and efficient manufacturing operations.

A Quality Control helps ensure products consistently meet quality expectations through careful inspection, measurement, and evaluation of manufactured components. This position combines technical expertise, attention to detail, and quality-focused decision making to support manufacturing operations.

The Quality Control requires strong observational skills, precision measurement ability, and the discipline to maintain accurate inspection records while supporting quality improvement initiatives. Successful candidates contribute directly to product reliability and customer confidence.
