- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a vital role in ensuring products meet quality standards before shipment. Duties include:
- Inspect finished products to identify defects before they reach customers.
- Monitor production lines for quality issues, including roll size, glue lines, core integrity, and overall product cleanliness.
- Prepare parent rolls for roll changes by removing plastic and cardboard, repairing cores as needed, and installing core chucks and pins.
- Maintain core supplies in the hopper.
- Assemble boxes for rejected products and ensure proper labeling and palletizing.
- Replace waste bins and assist with material handling.
- Communicate quality concerns to machine operators and supervisors.
- Complete production and quality reports accurately.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by sweeping and organizing work areas.
Qualifications:
- Previous quality inspection experience required.
- Warehouse experience required.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- English communication skills preferred.
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures throughout the year.
