Overview: Polk Mechanical is seeking a Construction Coordinator (QA/QC) to provide administrative and project support to the Project Manager, helping ensure construction projects run smoothly, efficiently, and on schedule. This role manages documentation, communication, coordination, and reporting while supporting day-to-day project operations.

Polk Mechanical is seeking a Construction Coordinator (QA/QC) to provide administrative and project support to the Project Manager, helping ensure construction projects run smoothly, efficiently, and on schedule. This role manages documentation, communication, coordination, and reporting while supporting day-to-day project operations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct administrative support to the Project Manager
• Maintain and organize project files, records, and documentation
• Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and correspondence
• Serve as a communication point with contractors, vendors, and suppliers
• Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
• Assist with procurement, inventory tracking, and supply orders
• Coordinate meetings, travel, and site visits
• Support project reporting and data collection
• Assist in resolving administrative and project-related issues

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2+ years in administrative, coordination, or project support roles
• Construction industry experience preferred
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
