Quality Control Associate

The Quality Control Associate will assure quality in bulk food products, procedures, and policies. Incumbent must be willing and able to do research on safety and sanitation issues and become certified in food safety. Ideal candidates will possess related experience in food production, preparation, and service. Candidates must be able to walk and stand for 7 or more hours a day and be able to lift 20 pounds, consistently. Excellent communication skills and availability to work each regularly scheduled production day a must.

 Responsibilities:

• Complete daily QC checklist -Visually inspect food products 
• Review and approve all food labels prior to production
• Become familiar with FDA labeling and packaging requirements
• Become familiar with OSHA standards and regulations

 Knowledge & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent 
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20lbs.
• Ability to withstand repetitive hand and arm motion
• Must be able to read, write and understand English
