    About the Role

    We are seeking a Quality Control Assistant/ Inspector will be responsible for performing

    quality control tests on products at various stages of production to ensure that customer

    specifications are being met and company quality ISO standards are followed.

    Responsibilities of the Quality Control Assistant:

    Works to current ISO standards to ensure quality products are produced.

    Performs first piece inspection and final inspection of components being

    manufactured.

    Responsible for performing dimensional and visual inspection of raw materials

    (using MTRs), in-process components and finished products.

    Calibrates equipment according to manufacturing standards and records data in

    calibration log.

    Oversees and maintains current Planned Maintenance program records for

    machining equipment

    Maintains the Master Document files, issuing working documents and labels,

    inspection records and the maintenance of lot history records.

    Assists in maintaining accurate Quality records of manufacturing drawings and

    purchase specifications.

    Recommends inspections and sampling techniques, quality control plans or

    process control procedures that will ensure production of finished products which

    meet quality specifications.

    Participates in ISO and customer audits.

    Makes recommendations for improving our operational processes and

    procedures to be more efficient if necessary.

    Maintains work areas in a safe, clean and orderly conditions and alerts Director

    of Manufacturing Operations or management team on any unsafe conditions.

    Requirements/Qualifications:

    High School diploma or equivalent required

    1 + year of experience in manufacturing quality

    Ability to read and interpret drawings/blueprints

    Ability to use inspection tools (micrometers, verniers, calipers, gauges) as

    needed

    Ability to lift maximum of 50 pounds

    Commitment to quality, safety, and accuracy of work performed and continuous

    improvement

    Compensation and Job Type:

    Full-time

    Hourly Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
