Description

Quality Assurance Manager

Our client is a manufacturer of metal-formed and fabricated products located near the South O'Hare area. Committed to supporting both customers and employees, they develop innovative infrastructure solutions with a strong focus on safety, quality, and long-term value.

Monitor product and process performance to identify improvement opportunities and support quality objectives.

Assist with regulatory, compliance, and certification-related activities.

Analyze data and communicate key findings, trends, and recommendations to leadership.

Prepare reports and maintain documentation to support operational and quality initiatives.

Support quality management system requirements and continuous improvement efforts.

Develop, implement, and maintain quality processes and standards to ensure product and operational excellence.

Conduct evaluations, audits, and assessments to verify compliance with established standards and procedures.

Investigate issues, identify root causes, and support corrective and preventive actions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, enhance performance, and achieve business objectives.

Provide guidance and training on quality standards, best practices, and process improvements.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, customer satisfaction, and operational performance.

4+ years of experience in a quality-focused role within an ISO 9001-certified or similar regulated environment.

Experience working within structured quality management systems and compliance-driven organizations.

Experience developing, implementing, and improving standard operating procedures (SOPs) and related documentation.

Familiarity with quality assurance principles, auditing practices, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.

Experience coordinating projects, tracking progress, and meeting established deadlines.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to communicate technical concepts, issues, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively across departments to achieve organizational goals.

Competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $110,000.
