Quality Control Analyst

Major Accountabilities: Responsible for Lab services, which includes running a Parts Washer for glassware, wrapping materials and appropriately using an Autoclave, and delivering samples through the Bulk process by reviewing sample plans before delivery. The analyst will be responsible for ensuring that QC samples are delivered and transported in a timely manner, running the autoclave and parts washer, and coordinating QC sample shipments.

Length of Assignment - 12 months
Shift/Schedule Details - Standard Business Hours, M-F, 8:00am-5:00pm (one 30-minute lunch break is required)
Location - Holly Springs, NC (100% onsite)

Job Description:
The primary responsibilities for this position include performing various tasks associated to QC support. The analyst will be responsible for ensuring that QC samples are delivered and transported in a timely manner, running the autoclave and parts washer, and coordinating QC sample shipments. The analyst will be required to maintain GMP documentation for all activities and must follow SOPs.

Major Accountabilities:

• Responsible for Lab services, which includes running a Parts Washer for glassware, wrapping materials and appropriately using an Autoclave, and delivering samples through the Bulk process by reviewing sample plans before delivery
• Responsible for aliquoting of production material in a BSC
• Responsible for processing incoming and outgoing shipments
• Able to perform GMP documentation activities and follow specific schedules, with excellent communication skills
• Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines
• Must demonstrate exceptional teamwork behaviors with going above and beyond to help others

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• 0+ years of experience in the industry required, but must have either a Bachelor's degree or Associate degree in a scientific discipline
• Must be able to interpret & follow detailed instructions
• Must be detail-oriented and possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Must be able to perform occasional heavy lifting with a team member (up to 80 lbs)
• Candidates must be willing to have a current season flu vaccine (can be provided at no cost onsite after candidate begins assignment)

Preferred / Nice to Have Qualifications:

• Knowledge of GMPs, safety regulations and data integrity preferred
• Does this role require PPE (not otherwise provided): yes, supplier paid safety shoes are required
• Will there be a supplier spotlight call? No, not unless the role proves difficult to fill.
• Interview Process: 1 round, in-person interview (panel to include HM and 2 others); 2nd round as needed
