Job Responsibilities:
Required Skills
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in quality auditing or quality control in a related industry.
Strong knowledge of quality systems and industry standards.
Experience supervising, leading, and training team members in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to research, recommend, and implement process improvements.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
Ability to work any shift schedule, including overtime and occasional travel as required.
Preferred Skills
Experience in automotive manufacturing environments.
University degree, college diploma, or completion of relevant career-related courses.
Experience supervising quality technicians, inspectors, or auditors.
Familiarity with IATF, ISO, TS, MAFACT, or similar quality management systems.
Experience with calibration programs and measurement equipment management.
Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, MPS, or 5S.
Experience preparing and presenting reports to senior management or customers.
Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
Key Job Functions
Maintain accurate quality records, reports, and documentation, including backup files and the GMK (Boundary Handbook).
Respond to employee concerns related to product quality and support investigations when quality issues arise.
Assist with root cause analysis for customer concerns and internal quality issues.
Notify Supplier Quality of rejects or concerns related to purchased components.
Compile quality performance history and prepare summaries for management review.
Perform internal audits of complete seats and components for customer and internal reviews.
Develop and implement quality control audit plans and identify testing parameters for products.
Evaluate production stages and test the composition, appearance, and functionality of completed products.
Ensure products comply with industry standards, customer specifications, and internal quality requirements.
Document defects, containment actions, and recommendations for corrective and preventive improvements.
Prepare and present quality audit reports and presentations to management and/or customers.
Manage new design seat activities including appearance audits, staging, and minor rework coordination.
Conduct weekly CCC audits for all product code types.
Develop, update, and maintain KPIs and LOPs related to product audits, lab performance, customer returns, and inspector performance.
Represent product audits, laboratory activities, customer returns, and inspector performance during internal and external audits (IATF, MAFACT, etc.).
Coordinate equipment calibration activities including scheduling, supplier communication, equipment shipment, certificate review, and maintaining calibration records.
Create purchase requisitions (PR) and purchase orders (PO) related to quality activities such as calibration services.
