A Quality Auditor plays a critical role in ensuring products, processes, and systems comply with established quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. For a manufacturing environment, the ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working within a structured quality management system and conducting process-based audits.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Quality Auditor is responsible for conducting audits of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and operational procedures to ensure compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory standards. This role supports continuous improvement initiatives by identifying nonconformances, evaluating process effectiveness, and recommending corrective and preventive actions. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience working within a manufacturing quality management system and a strong understanding of quality management systems and audit methodologies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
REQUIREMENTS
Associate's degree in quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field.
3-5 years of experience working within a quality management system in a manufacturing environment.
Experience conducting internal audits of manufacturing processes and quality systems.
Working knowledge of applicable quality standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, ISO 13485, UL1563, or similar.
Understanding of quality tools and methodologies including:
Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
Statistical Process Control (SPC)
Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
Control Plans
5 Why Analysis
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
