Description

Start your new career as a Quality Auditor with MAU at John Deere in Grovetown, GA. As a Quality Auditor, you will inspect manufactured and purchased parts and assemblies to ensure product quality while identifying corrective and preventive actions to maintain manufacturing standards. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.

What We're Looking For:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and inspection procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret part and assembly prints, blueprints, and manufacturing specifications
  • Experience using precision gauges, measuring tools, and inspection equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to analyze data and document findings clearly
  • Willingness to work required overtime and occasional Saturdays

What You'll Do as a Quality Auditor:

  • Inspect manufactured and purchased parts and assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Conduct special quality investigations and gather data to determine corrective or preventive actions
  • Work from part prints, assembly drawings, and manufacturing specifications
  • Measure relationships of part features using layout techniques and precision measuring equipment
  • Set up and operate CMM equipment to verify adherence to specifications
  • Prepare clear and concise reports with findings and recommendations for corrective actions
  • Perform destructive and non-destructive testing when required
  • Plot inspection data on graphs and charts for analysis
  • Disassemble or assemble parts for inspection or testing
  • Operate test equipment and run off machines for quality verification
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to maintain product quality
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing job duties
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
