Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Quality Assurance Tester for a Contract job with a client in San Antonio, TX. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in Software Quality Assurance, Test Automation, and Enterprise Application Testing, along with hands-on expertise in Selenium and automated testing frameworks.

Rate Range: $50/hour to $55/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Quality Assurance Tester job responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts and test frameworks for enterprise software applications.

• Collaborate closely with software developers, business analysts, and product teams to validate application functionality and release quality.

• Perform Functional, Integration, System Integration, Regression, User Acceptance (UAT), and End-to-End testing activities.

• Develop and enhance automation solutions utilizing Selenium WebDriver and industry-standard QA automation frameworks.

• Support software release validation, defect tracking, root cause analysis, and quality assurance best practices.

• Execute API and web service testing using SOAPUI, XML, WSDL, and related integration technologies.

• Participate in software configuration management activities, including version control, change control, and build validation processes.

• Conduct browser, device, operating system, usability, performance, and load testing activities to ensure application stability and reliability.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.

• Strong hands-on experience in:

• Software Quality Assurance

• Test Automation

• Automation Framework Development

• Software Release Validation

• Advanced experience with one or more automation platforms including:

• Selenium

• Appium

• Playwright

• Experience programming or scripting using:

• Java, JavaScript, Python, C#, VB, Ruby, Perl

• Strong understanding of:

• Software Testing Methodologies, SDLC, Agile Development, QA Best Practices, Configuration Management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with: Sauce Labs, Jenkins, GitHub, Maven, Eclipse, IntelliJ, TestNG, SourceTree

• Experience with Load Testing tools including:

• JMeter, LoadRunner

• Experience supporting:

• SAP ERP Applications, Java Applications, .NET Applications, Adobe AEM, IBM Content Services, WordPress Platforms.

• Experience with: Automation Anywhere, MuleSoft, Enterprise Integration Platforms

Pay Details: $50.00 to $55.00 per hour
