We"re seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to help ensure the safety and reliability of products used in the healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, and life sciences industries. What You"ll Do

As a Quality Assurance Technician, you"ll play a critical role in monitoring product quality throughout the manufacturing process by:

  • Performing mechanical, tensile, and leak testing to verify product performance and integrity.
  • Conducting detailed visual inspections and dimensional measurements to ensure products meet exact specifications.
  • Evaluating product color and appearance to maintain consistency with customer and quality requirements.
  • Identifying defects and non-conformances with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Collecting samples directly from the production floor and overseeing the testing process from start to finish.
  • Using rulers and precision measuring tools to confirm packaging and print placement accuracy.
  • Documenting testing results, quality findings, and inspection data accurately and thoroughly.
  • Supporting compliance with GMP, ISO 9001, and internal quality standards.
  • Collaborating with production teams to maintain the highest levels of product quality and customer satisfaction.

What We"re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Quality Inspection, or a related manufacturing environment.
  • Strong visual inspection and measurement skills.
  • Experience performing mechanical testing, leak testing, tensile testing, or similar quality evaluations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to document findings clearly and maintain organized records.
  • Ability to distinguish colors accurately for color verification activities.
  • Familiarity with GMP-regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Comfortable working between laboratory and production environments.
  • Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift.
  • Availability to work a consistent 3rd shift schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous quality experience within medical device, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing industries.
  • Experience working in laboratory-based quality environments.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and quality management systems.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wood Dale, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.10 - $23.10/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
