In this hands-on role, you"ll work closely with production teams to monitor processes, perform inspections and testing, maintain compliance documentation, and help drive a culture of excellence throughout our manufacturing facility. What You"ll Do:

• Inspect finished products and in-process materials to verify compliance with quality, food safety, and customer specifications.
• Conduct routine production floor audits to ensure proper product composition, packaging, labeling, coding, storage, and handling practices.
• Complete and review quality assurance documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Perform scheduled compliance checks, including weight verification, case inspections, label reviews, coding validation, and customer-required testing.
• Monitor daily facility activities and document findings to support food safety and quality standards.
• Conduct pre-operational inspections, environmental monitoring, swabbing activities, chemical testing, product testing, and glass inspections.
• Identify, investigate, and communicate quality concerns or food safety risks, partnering with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.
• Manage product hold procedures for out-of-specification materials and ensure accurate communication of product status.
• Create and document defective material reports for supplier-related quality concerns.
• Maintain product retain samples and assist with investigations, trend analysis, and root-cause identification.
• Support customer and sales sample programs by preparing, tracking, and documenting sample requests.
• Enter and maintain laboratory and production data with a high level of accuracy and organization.

Qualifications:

• Associate"s degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hopkins, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
