Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician
Location: Beloit, WI
Salary Range: $22/hr
Introduction
The role involves performing a variety of routine laboratory operations in a quality assurance setting. Responsibilities include making measurements, performing routine quantitative and qualitative biological or chemical analytical tests, and monitoring the production process to maintain product consistency and comply with established specifications.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in performing routine biological or chemical analytical tests.
- Ability to monitor production processes and ensure product compliance with specifications.
- Proficiency in using testing equipment for validation and/or calibration.
- Strong communication skills to report out-of-compliance situations.
- Prior work experience at the company or in the company's industry.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in executing and monitoring the Food Safety Plan and Food Quality Plan.
- Knowledge of SQF system requirements.
- Experience in conducting pre-op inspections and plant sanitation verifications.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Perform measurements and analytical tests according to standard procedures.
- Evaluate finished products for various quality parameters.
- Document all testing accurately and report any discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene guidelines.
- Coordinate disposition and rework of out-of-compliance products with leadership approval.
