Quality Assurance Supervisor

Geometric tolerancing, ISO9000 auditor training; Microsoft Office proficiency, electrical theory knowledge; EMI/HEMP technology and measurement, environmental testing methods. Ensure department work areas are safe, healthy, and environmentally compliant through training, implementation of EHS policies, and continuous improvement.

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY

Directs the efforts of the Inspection Department, including supervision of TPLs, technical training and associated personnel actions.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Assigns team goals and conducts Tier meetings to communicate issues and assign actions.

Reviews and approves time and attendance for accuracy.

Ensure department work areas are safe, healthy, and environmentally compliant through training, implementation of EHS policies, and continuous improvement.

Represents Gichner In-process inspection team during audits, inspection, and as part of acceptance by customer and with government personnel.

Oversee the inspection/in-process test of product and completion of inspection data. Reviews records for completeness.

Responsible for CAPA initiation and follow up within responsible area.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Four (4) year college/University education in technical field, or equivalent experience.

Five (5) years related experience, including supervisor.

WORK ENVIROMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Office environment.

Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time.

Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key, phones).

Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
