With 118 beds and more than 400 physicians on its medical staff, Pali Momi Medical Center offers a full range of services for the communities of Central and West Oahu. The hospital has delivered many medical firsts for the community, including Central and West Oahu's only interventional cardiac catheterization unit to detect and treat heart disease, a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, a comprehensive women's center, CT scan and MRI services, and the state's first retina center. Pali Momi is the only facility in Hawaii that uses a team triage approach in its emergency room, where patients are promptly evaluated by an emergency physician.
The Pali Momi Womens Center is growing to meet the needs of our West Oahu community. Since our opening 10 years ago, patients have come to depend on our caring staff and professional services for regular check-ups and advanced breast cancer care. In late summer 2012, our Womens Center moved next door to our brand new Pali Momi Medical Pavilion: an expansion that combines our tradition of excellent care, patient safety and the latest technology in a convenient, beautiful and comfortable space. Our Womens Center offers breast, bone and womens health services such as Mammography and Stereotactic core biopsies, plus Ultrasound for expectant mothers, a Patient Navigator to help patients through their health care journey, a resource library and the most advanced technology in digital mammography and breast MRI. Pali Momi Women's Center was named a Breast Imaging Centers of Excellence by the doctors who specialize in mammography and breast diagnostics-the American College of Radiology-and ranks among the top eight percent in the nation.
As the Mammography Quality Assurance Specialist, you will have the opportunity to ensure that our Womens Center provides quality, compassionate Mammography care to our patients. In this role, you will enter data into the Mammography Reporting System (MRS), print/mail patient reports, perform quality control checks of MRS data and reports, prepare quarterly Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) reports, follow up and retrieve outside films and compile accreditation statistics. We are looking for someone with excellent organizational and analytical ability, outstanding communication skills and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai'i's people.
