Quality Assurance Specialist
A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Quality Assurance Specialist in Princeton, NJ!
This is an opportunity with a leading organization and an opportunity to gain valuable experience in quality assurance within a fragrance/chemical production environment.
Pay Rate: $26.00–$30.00/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Location: Princeton, NJ
Work Arrangement: 100% onsite
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Conduct Gemba walks throughout the production process to verify fragrance batches meet established specifications.
- Perform and support quality testing at various stages of production, including mixing, pre-packing, and HACCP checkpoints.
- Support nonconformance investigations, including Z3, Z1, and Z5 investigations.
- Monitor overdue actions within the IMS and support document management control.
- Review documentation, analytical data, product specifications, and process changes/deviations prior to product release.
- Identify and resolve quality concerns and discrepancies to ensure compliance with established specifications.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management regarding product quality, trends, and production challenges.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in collaboration with operational teams.
- Support comprehensive evaluations for investigations and process improvements.
- Support the plant's 5S program.
Qualifications
Requirements
- Technical degree or equivalent experience in Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of Quality Assurance experience.
- Experience in the fragrance, food, chemical, or related industry preferred.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, HACCP, and GMP standards.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality systems such as SAP or LIMS.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to meet physical fit requirements.
Additional Qualifications
- Experience with production quality processes and investigations.
- Knowledge of quality documentation and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work collaboratively with production and operational teams.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing/production environment.
