Position Overview
The Quality Assurance Specialist (QAS) supports the Project Quality Assurance Manager and Project Quality Manager in implementing the District Quality Management System (QMS) and project-specific Quality Procedures. This role plays a key part in conducting routine project audits and assessments, producing and organizing compliance documentation, and ensuring the QMS is consistently and effectively executed.
Experience supporting data center construction and a strong understanding of mechanical systems is highly preferred.
This includes familiarity with major components such as cooling systems, piping, ductwork, and other critical infrastructure typical of mission‑critical environments.

This position will start in Abilene, TX
Candidates must be open to relocating as needed.
We relocate our teams based on the work that is available, combined with the development plans, skill sets and career goals of each team member.

Responsibilities
Qualifications
Associate degree in Quality Management or 7+ years of relevant Quality Assurance experience.
Data center construction experience strongly preferred, with emphasis in:
Mechanical systems (chillers, cooling systems, HVAC, piping)
Critical MEP installation and commissioning environments
Strong communication skills and ability to influence field and project teams.
Proficiency with computers and software including Word, Excel, and database applications.
Ability to work in demanding construction environments, including:
Lifting 50+ lbs occasionally
Navigating uneven or congested work areas
Climbing ladders, stairs, and scaffolding
Maintaining full range of motion required for field inspections
