Quality Assurance Specialist

Pay Rate: $22.40/hour
Full-Time | Quality Assurance | Customer Service Operations
8 am - 5 pm | Monday - Friday | No Weekends!

About the Role

Are you detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about delivering high-quality service? We are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team and help ensure our processes and customer service meet the highest standards.

In this role, you’ll review work across multiple functional areas, identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and partner with the team to strengthen quality and performance. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who enjoys problem-solving, learning new processes, and finding ways to make things better.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct quality reviews across multiple functional areas.
  • Learn and understand operational processes to accurately evaluate performance.
  • Complete objective, accurate, and concise quality assessments.
  • Maintain a 96% or higher quality score and meet established quality performance standards.
  • Monitor quality results and identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Track and maintain quality assessment information in the quality monitoring system.
  • Assist with implementing and maintaining quality processes, procedures, and controls.
  • Follow up on quality assessments requiring corrections and ensure timely completion.
  • Contribute ideas and innovative strategies to improve current processes.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of program operations and serve as a resource for functional areas.
  • Complete administrative tasks and support Quality Team initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other departments and provide support as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College degree preferred.
  • Experience working in government services, healthcare, health and human services, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with Medicaid and/or CHIP or public-sector healthcare is a plus.
  • Bilingual skills are preferred.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to learn new processes, procedures, and guidelines quickly.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to communicate clearly through written documentation, presentations, and interviews.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Typing speed of at least 30 WPM.
  • Ability to remain flexible and effective as processes and guidelines change.

Compensation

$22.40 per hour
