The Quality Assurance Production Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of technicians and overseeing the testing, quality verification, and final processing of industrial electronic and automation equipment before shipment. This role ensures all products are repaired when necessary, properly tested, cleaned, documented, and validated to meet Radwell quality standards and customer expectations.
This position combines technical leadership, quality oversight, and team management to ensure efficient workflow, high-quality output, and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate has hands-on technical experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to lead a production team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Organize, prioritize, and manage all orders assigned to the team
Supervise and support a team of 3-10 technicians
Evaluate warranty returns within 48 hours of receipt
Communicate production delays and quality issues to appropriate departments for customer follow-up
Ensure processing notes and job status updates remain accurate within company systems
Verify appropriate use of testing equipment, repair assets, and quality control resources
Witness testing activities and perform quality control inspections to ensure customer satisfaction
Direct completed workflow to shipping and final processing departments
Oversee the quality, accuracy, and completeness of repaired and tested products
Maintain clean, organized, and safe workspaces throughout the department
Utilize Management Reporting System (MRS) tools and reporting effectively
Provide technician performance feedback during monthly and annual review processes
Support technician training, coaching, and development initiatives
Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, quality standards, and workflow processes
Perform other duties, tasks, or work as assigned

Qualifications
Prior supervisory or team leadership experience
Ability to troubleshoot and solder electronic components
Experience using hand and power tools
Strong technical aptitude and understanding of repair, testing, and quality assurance processes
Required to provide and maintain personal tools as specified by management

Work Schedule
As an exempt leadership position, schedule requirements will be determined by operational needs and the schedule of the team being supervised. Supervisors are expected to provide adequate coverage, maintain attendance standards, and ensure departmental objectives are achieved. Time off is granted in accordance with company policy.
