    Description

    Quality Assurance Operations Lead

    What you'll tackle

    • Own the creation, rollout, and upkeep of quality control policies, procedures, and standards.
    • Direct and mentor inspectors, technicians, and the broader QC team.
    • Oversee production checkpoints to verify adherence to quality requirements.
    • Plan and execute internal audits and inspections to surface issues proactively.
    • Lead investigations into customer complaints and nonconformance reports.
    • Compile and interpret quality metrics; publish KPI reports for stakeholders.
    • Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to closure.
    • Safeguard compliance with industry regulations, safety rules, and company policies.
    • Partner with Production, Engineering, and Procurement to elevate product quality.
    • Administer supplier quality assessments and audit programs.
    • Educate teams on standards, procedures, and quality best practices.

    Must-have qualifications

    • 5+ years in quality control or quality assurance.
    • 2+ years managing or supervising teams.
    • Deep familiarity with QMS, ISO standards, and applicable regulations.
    • Proven analytical, problem-solving, and leadership strengths.
    • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
    • Comfort with Microsoft Office and quality management software tools.

    Preferred background

    • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or related field.
    • CQM, CQE, or comparable certification.
    • Hands-on experience with ISO 9001.
