Quality Assurance Nurse (RN)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week

Position Summary:

Family Health is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Nurse (RN) to support our commitment to clinical quality, patient safety, regulatory compliance, performance improvement, and population health.

The Quality Assurance Nurse applies professional nursing knowledge, quality improvement principles, evidence-based practices, and data-driven methodologies to monitor, evaluate, and improve the quality, safety, effectiveness, and efficiency of patient care

This position works collaboratively with the Director of Quality and Risk, medical providers, nursing leadership, clinical staff, operations, information technology, health information management, and other members of the health care team. The Quality Assurance Nurse helps identify gaps in care, monitor quality performance, improve clinical workflows, promote evidence-based practices, and support compliance with applicable federal, state, payer, accreditation, and organizational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

The Quality Assurance Nurse provides clinical and analytical support for quality measures and reporting requirements, including applicable:

• HRSA/UDS programs
• CMS quality programs
• Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) initiatives
• Medicaid and Medicare programs
• Managed care and payer quality programs
• Regulatory, accreditation, and contractual requirements

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting chart reviews, clinical audits, and data validation activities.
• Monitoring quality measures, clinical performance, and patient safety indicators.
• Identifying gaps in care and supporting strategies to improve patient
