Description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality systems, inspection teams, and compliance initiatives within a precision manufacturing environment. This role will oversee AS9100 and ISO 9001 compliance, drive continuous improvement efforts, and ensure products meet the highest quality and safety standards.

Description

  • Lead, maintain, and enhance the company's quality management system and quality assurance programs.
  • Manage quality inspectors, quality engineers, and document control processes.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality standards.
  • Review certifications, quality records, and shipping documentation to verify customer and regulatory compliance.
  • Plan and lead internal audits while supporting customer, regulatory, and certification audits.
  • Oversee calibration programs for inspection and measurement equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive actions to reduce defects and improve quality performance.
  • Evaluate supplier quality metrics and monitor incoming material quality.
  • Analyze quality performance data and present findings to executive leadership.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, production, and product development teams to resolve quality issues and establish quality standards.
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline.
  • 5-8 years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of AS9100 quality management systems.
  • Experience maintaining and improving ISO 9001 compliance programs.
  • Demonstrated expertise conducting internal, supplier, and customer audits.
  • Strong understanding of machining, metal manufacturing, or industrial production processes.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Experience with calibration and maintenance of inspection and measurement equipment.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems, quality reporting tools, and data analysis methodologies.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, mentor employees, and drive accountability.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
