    Quality Assurance Manager | Aerospace Cabin Interiors

    Join a premier leader in aerospace cabin interiors as a Quality Assurance Manager. In this high-impact leadership role at our Huntington Beach, CA facility, you will spearhead quality strategies, manage a diverse QA team, and ensure our products meet the highest standards for global aviation leaders.

     

    The Opportunity

    • Compensation: $129,000 – $145,000 / year.
    • Leadership: Manage quality engineers, inspectors, and administrators while driving continuous improvement.
    • Impact: Develop QA programs for complex aircraft cabin assemblies and oversee QMS compliance with AS9100 and FAA regulations.

    Core Responsibilities

    • Implement APQP and PFMEA to create fail-safe manufacturing processes.
    • Manage internal and external audit readiness (customer and third-party).
    • Monitor Cost of Quality KPIs and identify contractual risks.
    • Lead corrective/preventive action processes and statistical product acceptance.
    • Interface directly with Supply Chain, Engineering, and customers on quality issues.


    Requirements

    Required Qualifications

    • Education: Master’s + 2 years OR Bachelor’s + 5 years of progressive experience in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
    • Experience: 5+ years in Quality Assurance, including 3 years in aircraft cabin interior assembly.
    • Technical Mastery: * 2+ years with APQP, PFMEA, and MRP/ERP systems (SysPro/UniPoint preferred).
      • Expertise in Boeing BAC/D6 procedures and AS9138 statistical requirements.
      • Proficiency in FaroArm/Verisurf metrology and technical writing for FAA Part 21/145.
      • Strong grasp of Lean Six-Sigma, TQM, and statistics.

     

    Domestic/International travel up to 10%.
