Job Description

Lead and coordinate daily inspection activities across multiple manufacturing areas. Ensure first article, in-process, and final inspections are completed accurately and on schedule. Manage the identification, documentation, and disposition of non-conforming materials. Provide technical guidance and support to quality inspectors and internal stakeholders. Partner with production and assembly leadership to resolve workflow and quality challenges. Support new product and component inspection planning, including measurement strategies and tooling requirements. Monitor departmental metrics and implement improvements to enhance quality and efficiency. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support broader quality-related projects. Develop, mentor, and evaluate members of the inspection team. Assist leadership with workforce planning, performance management, and team development.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Proven experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Experience programming and operating CMM equipment using PC-DMIS. Background inspecting machined components and electromechanical assemblies. Demonstrated leadership experience within a quality or manufacturing setting. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with quality documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement methodologies.
