Quality Assurance Lead

Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable test automation solutions for web, API, and end-to-end enterprise applications. Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, architects, and QA teams to ensure highquality software delivery.

Our client, a IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a Quality Assurance Lead for their Charlotte, NC location.
 
Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable test automation solutions for web, API, and end-to-end enterprise applications.
• Architect and maintain robust automation frameworks using Playwright with Python/PyTest adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
• Drive quality engineering initiatives across Agile teams by integrating automation into DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, architects, and QA teams to ensure highquality software delivery.
• Automation Framework Development:
• Design, develop, and enhance enterprisegrade automation frameworks using Playwright and Python.
• Build reusable Page Object Models (POM), utility libraries, fixtures, custom assertions, and reporting components.
• Implement scalable test architecture supporting functional, regression, smoke, integration, and endtoend testing.
• Create maintainable automation solutions following coding standards and quality best practices.
• Improve framework performance, maintainability, and execution efficiency.
• API Automation:
• Develop and maintain API automation suites using Playwright API capabilities and Python libraries.
• Validate REST and microservicesbased applications.
• Design reusable request and response validation frameworks.
• Implement authentication mechanisms such as:
• OAuth
• JWT
• Bearer Tokens
• Certificatebased authentication
• Create endtoend workflows combining UI and API validations
• Test Data & Environment Management:
• Design reusable test data management strategies.
• Integrate automation solutions with databases and backend systems.
• Reporting & Analytics:
• Generate executivelevel automation dashboards and metrics.
• Analyze test execution trends and automation ROI.
• Produce detailed reports including:
• Pass/Fail metrics
• Defect leakage
• Coverage analysis
• Execution trends
