Quality Assurance Lab Technician

Food Manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Assurance Lab Technician for a contract to hire opportunity!  We are looking for an individual who has experience in food manufacturing and quality processes with willingness to learn and grow with company long term.

Job Duties:

• Perform hourly quality checks on product and document findings
• Ability to perform in process and final quality checks for products
• Ability to follow production schedule and make changeovers necessary with product packaging and shelf life requirements
• Follow FDA, GMP, HACCP and other food manufacturing safety protocol and document accordingly
• Clean and sanitize every shift and document
• Follow programs and procedures per company procedures 
• Ensure that all documents are filled out daily
• Update the Quality Assurance Manual as necessary
• Other duties as assigned by management
