Quality Assurance Inspector
Title: Quality Assurance Inspector Location: Largo, FL Industry: Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Schedule: 7am-3:30pm Pay Rate: $20/hr Employment Type: Contract with the possibility to go permanent
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform component inspections and raw material sampling processes with direct oversight.
Learn and properly use measuring devices, including calipers, go/no-go gauges, pin gauges, scales, and rulers.
Complete daily documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP), including instrumentation records, logbooks, and inspection records.
Monitor temperature and cleaning conditions in cold and hot box storage areas.
Operate and complete certification for electric and manual pallet jacks.
Properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Read and follow Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and other applicable safety materials.
Apply basic cGMP, safety, evacuation, and reporting requirements.
Report safety and quality events accurately and promptly.
Follow processes for the storage and retention of raw materials and components.
Accurately operate scanners and identify warehouse locations and materials.
Apply cGMP, safety, and continuous improvement practices to support accurate inspections and customer satisfaction.
Perform other duties and activities assigned by Quality Management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Working knowledge of FDA regulations related to pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing.
Knowledge of chemical safety and proper use of protective equipment.
High School Diploma required.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in an FDA-regulated pharmaceutical or medical device environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis
