Must Have Skills/Attributes: Compliance, MS Excel, Quality Assurance

Experience Desired: Experience in Quality assurance (3 yrs); Experience operating in ISO9001 (1 yrs); Ability to distinguish the difference between colors (i.e. read color codes) (1 yrs); Understanding of IPC-A-610 requirements (1 yrs)

Required Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Education: Associate's Degree

Job Responsibilities: Execute inspection of parts, circuit boards, assemblies, and finished product. These operations can require the use of measuring devices Interpret drawings and other documents and set the appropriate inspection levels in accordance with department policies Collaborate with other departments as needed to support assigned duties Process/route materials Perform other tasks to support operations Track quality indicators, eventually providing first-level analysis to identify improvement opportunities Participate in continuous improvement activities Draft quality procedures Conduct internal audits Investigate non-conformance issues

Position Overview: With assistance/direction, perform inspections of parts and assemblies (components, hardware, electronic circuit board assemblies, electro-mechanical assemblies, finished product, etc.) to ensure compliance with documented standards, enter inspection results in company databases, and communicate results via reports. Potentially, this person will also support various activities to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
