POSITION OBJECTIVEQA Inspector is responsible for performing daily QA testing, in-process and final inspections, grading garments to the customer's specific requirements, and weekly testing and incoming inspections, as needed. The QA Inspector will utilize the garment tracking system to ensure customer requirements are met and product traceability maintained.
JOB DESCRIPTION/ REQUIREMENTS:
Perform daily QA testing; garment cleanliness, ESD, In-Process, and Final InspectionsPerform weekly/monthly/periodic QA testing activitiesPerform additional QA inspections as needed.Inspect garments for nonconformities to the garment grading schedule and customer specific requirements.Scan all inspected garments into the garment tracking systemUtilize Excel/Word for data entry of testing/inspection resultsDocumentation reviewCommunicate issues to the QA Supervisor/Manager
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
Must be at least 18 years oldAble to stand for long periods of timeMust be able to wear cleanroom gowning of hood, coverall, boots, goggles, face mask, and gloves.Computer knowledge of Excel and Word preferredDetail orientated and ability to learnWork in a team environmentMaintain productivity; Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and complete required tasks.Candidate must be able to work 8 to 10 hours daily and Saturdays (as needed).
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent is preferredExperience in Quality beneficial
