Conduct field inspections to verify conformance with approved contract documents and applicable codes
Review contractor work for compliance with specifications, manufacturer instructions, and regulatory standards
Coordinate daily activities with third-party inspectors and project stakeholders, including ABIA Operations, Environmental teams, City inspectors, and AUS personnel
Document deficiencies and communicate findings to the Contractor and CDS inspectors in a timely manner
Support Construction Managers in verifying installed quantities for Pay Applications
Maintain accurate daily inspection reports detailing work reviewed and observations made
Participate in change management processes and assist in schedule evaluations
Navigate and utilize project documentation including design drawings, specifications, Design Standards Manual, and contract terms
Maintain and organize on-site project documentation, including inspection and test reports
Stay current in Codes and Regulations applicable to design and construction
Provide daily inspection of construction work within a given discipline to ensure the project is in compliance with plans and specifications
Be proactive and alert project management professionals to issues that may come up in the field
Provide solutions to mitigate those problems
Observe field work to ensure workmanship and materials meet standards
Document the work via the daily inspection report and various other reports
